Now that Tecmo has announced Atelier Ayesha for March 5th. I was wondering if anyone besides me plans on picking it up? Massive explosion on Siliconera about the possibility of no Japanese tracks, but for me personally I don't listen to JPN. They may change their minds, who knows. Not going to stop me from enjoying a good series!

wit out a doubt, when my P3 get fixed.

I'm hoping Tecmo still has a Limited Edition planned. It seems the MSRPG is $49.99. I definitely don't mind paying $60-65 for a L.E. like they did for the Arland series.

Maybe, losing voice tracks is a bummer.

The series is solid, but not a day one for me. See hoe 2013 unfolds and decide in coming months.

definitely, so nice that they announced it finally. Like you I never listen to the JP track so losing it won't affect me, but I'm sad that some fans will be missing it due to it.

Hmm this is a RPG correct? Can anyone tell me their opinion on the game? Watched a few trailers/ gameplay video's and it looks solid.

Of course! I'm really hoping it's a retail release again.

Definitely! I only got into the series...two years ago, when after checking out some Youtube videos of Atelier Rorona, decided to take the plunge and give it a go. Best decision ever because I've been shocked as to how enjoyable the games are. Between the atmosphere, characters, and the hilarious lesbian subtext, The Arland Trilogy was a highlight for me this gen. From what I've seen of Ayesha, this looks to continue and I can't wait!

I think the most important factor to your enjoyment of these titles is how much you're into crafting systems in RPGs.  The story's fun, and the battle system is enjoyable but the alchemy crafting system and time management is what makes me fall in love with the series and that's what Gust does as well as anybody.

I think the biggest thing one needs to understand before playing an Atelier is not to an expect a "OMG You're the hero, the one and only one to save us from X, X ,X ,X ,X"

It's really just a casual game with everyday problems like rebuilding a shop or something. I personally like that they don't take themselves too seriously, and are more about good fun.
