Lost Odyssey is much better than Xenoblade, which is also a good game.

No....LO reminded me of old FF which is why it is not better than Xenoblade. Xenoblade has way more depth  this was by far my favorite jrpg in 2012. LO doesn't even come close.. and that's a fact. I would of hoped for LO to be different than FF.

Buy the chords, play Xenoblade Chronicles. And The Last Story. And honestly, you're looking for a classic style JRPG, Arc Rise Fantasia.

Also would throw in Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny. A little light compared to the handheld entries but still solid to play.

The PSP and the NDS were the RPG kings of this generation - not the consoles.

FFXIII is a disgrace to the franchise and the genre. The thing is just wrong, and should've never had been released like that.
