Windows 7: the new XP

How is it bad ?

its a great OS people just like to hate.

Windows 8 is by miles better than Win 7 for everything.

Its fast to go to point A to B i dont see any problem. im using Win 7 right now anyway.

The only problem is to close tabs but that goes there with time, also Keyboard is your friend.

Win 8 > 7 > XP

i must have been born on another planet or im just superior to all of you because Win 8 is the most easy thing to use ever. If you cant use this then im sorry but some problems are happening.

To me its win7 with a bad UI for non-touchscreen devices. MS should have let you see the new UI then quickly opt out or in.

That was a commercial. Also as others said it works really well with touch devices (phones/tablets) and even those touch screen laptops but touching the screen of a laptop seems odd as people are not used to it. Usually we have to tell young kids that please don't touch the screen (tv/computers). 

Also i think you are just superior. Those arms man. Do you lift?

i was joking with that statement, im not superior to anyone.

My grandmother bought a Lenovo desktop that has touchscreen and she loves it. I've played with it and liked it a lot. Desktops are the ones that need to evolve. I now own a touchscreen HP laptop with Windows 8 and I'm quite happy. Took a while to adapt but it's worth it.

So, you need to use third party software to get the traditional (and very useful) start button?????? That really sucks!!!!! You should have it from the get go!!!

Will people STOP saying that the UI isn't very good for non touchscreen devices. It works marvelously with a keyboard/mouse.
