I think that Android based dedicated gaming handhelds should start to count in this total.. We're going to see growth in the dedicated handheld market.

Nooooo.... Dont let this be true! Sony wont stay in the handheld market for long! I rather just have Sony vs Nintendo!

Nintendo is very future proofed because their sales are based off of a lower pricepoint and exclusive content. New hardware being added in competition can't erase the existance of exclusive content which drives mega sales.  Just like how TV is still doing great because they focused on great content and you're seeing the highest ratings ever for shows like the Walking Dead despite all the new competition for people's time.

Nintendo 3DS~ 105 million
Playstation Vita~ 55 million

Let's predict Wii U, Xbox 720 and Playstation 4 for fun as well since others are.

Wii U~ 80 million
Xbox 720~ 75 million
Playstation 4~ 90 million
