It doesn't matter because the DS is a HANDHELD. Two different markets, two differen't sales figures. The top two home consoles are PS2 and PS1. The top handheld is the DS. They can't be compared, and no one with common sense will ever attempt to.



In this case Nintendo is average and Sony Serperior! While In the handheld department Nintendo Dominates and Sony is way under! All Handhelds of Nintendo beat the PSP, And so will 3DS, as for Vita too early to tell but the highestbi see it going if it gets the ball running is 45mil which isn't comparable to PSP

I totaly agree. Nintendo is the king of handhelds and Sony will probably stop making them they're losing so bad. It's nice to see you come around though on the comparing of the two (handhelds and consoles). You really can't compare the two.

de will have to sale 60m to outsell PS2 do to when we stopped tracking PS2, and i'm not to sure how much longer Wii can survive at this rate.

ds may pass PS2, but i'm not holding my breath.

I love how people try to compete with sony in sales. sony has dominated 2 generations and now its going to be 3 since the ps3 surpassed the 360 in sales recently. YEA YEA i know what you fanboys are going to say,(But it doesn't say that in VG charts!!x(. well believe it or not. its true. VG chartz is going to lose credibility if they don't update the facts.

Uummmm..... Yeaa? We kno it dominated first 2 gens but this gen all 3 systems did fantastic. Wii With its innovation will get over 100mil, X360 did so much better compare to the original and it will get around 85-90mil life and PS3 had a terrible start that now their doing so well catching up and about to surpass X360 in hardware (hopefully) this year. Maybe 90-93mil lifetime? PS3 didn't dominate, it did fantastic though as well as everybody else! Even Handheld Held its on to the DS! But just cant beat Nintendo, I mean they had the GameBoy lol

But it hasn't passed the Wii. So it hasn't dominated this generation and probably never will.

What? The use of "Fanboy" is hardly derogatory, some people take pride when they are labelled by it.

As for "Bashing the site" they should be all for constructive criticism.
