Would it be a good idea to port Xenoblade to 3DS?

Hellz yes! Bring it!! 31 72.09%

W00t?! Nooos! No wai! 8 18.60%

Well... Maybe... Just gimme rezulz! 4 9.30%

Total:43

Hell no! This kind of game demands a big screen. Xenoblade HD for Wii U would be better but I'd personally prefer a new game...

I'm assuming the "804k" is a typo?

I think the 39k and 22k were typos.

Ah, gotcha.

Sadly, I suspect the lower numbers are closer to the correct one.

Not that I think it sold that poorly... I just doubt it sold over 800k.

Ok, so maybe the game is a bit to big... Would it be possible to scale the graphics back a bit maybe? With a second screen and all it would make the game ever better!

And to all of you saying you prefer a new Monolith game; so do I! But why would Monolith be the ones porting the game? Nintendo didn't port OoT; Grecco did. Let them port Xenoblade as well ^^

Graphics could be scaled back, which ideally would be offset by the small screen size. I don't think that would free up a ton of storage space, but if necessary, Nintendo could have a custom 3DS cartridge. That would drive up the price of production...

Alternatively it could be digital-only. Probably would take up a ton of space on the SD Card, though.

According to VGC, it sold around 840k. 804k was yet another typo.

Isn't Xenoblade like 8GB, it's a little too big for a 3DS game.

Is it on more than one DVD on the Wii?

Anyways 3DS cartidges can go up to 8gb.

It's on a dual layer disc like Smash Bros Brawl was. Also 8GB 3DS carts must be expensive to manufacture.

I think that the game was only dual-layered on the European version, since it had more "content" (languages).

I just checked and you're right. The North American version is 4.05 GB and the European version is 5.98 GB.

That would be a great idea, but I'd rather see Pandora's Tower ported... I've been dying to play it and it doesn't seem we'll get a NA release on Wii any time soon :(

I would be happy with anything like Xenoblade on 3DS

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

One thing Nintendo should do with Xenoblade though is putting it on the eShop. Actually, every Nintendo game should be put on the eShop. Especially Metroid Prime Trilogy.

I hope that .85 million sales is enough for NoA to think that it's worth their time and money to port + advertise a Monolith Soft game....
I just want to see their next game in jawdropping HD. I don't need Xenoblade on 3DS, but mainly because I already have my save file on Wii and I would never start over .... o_o

That's even harder to believe. We need BenVTrigger to leak some data...It's a Gamestop exclusive in NA after all.
