Some where in the region of 3 million sounds right. I dont anticipate it doing GOW3 nunbers and there is considerably less buzz for Ascension.

Still great sales and that figure could go up if the mutiplayer turn out to be a surprise hit. Or it could be less if the game somehow doesnt review well. Bottom line I predict in the 3 million range

According to VGChartz numbers, it would only be a few 100ks less than GoW3. I don't know how much it'll actually sell. Just predicting what VGChartz will show.

according to vgcharts it would be a 800K less if your 3.7 predicition is correct. i just dont see this happening. less than 4 million would be a serious decline for the franchise. oh and keep in mind that no game in the franchise did less than 4 million (main console games)

We'll see. I've already considered everything you've posted and 3.7 - 4.2m is what I believe at the moment. As we get more pre-order data, and information on the PS4 (like Backwards compatibility), my prediction may change.
