Yep, seems like Generation 6 to me as well. I'm surprised no one picked Pokemon Snap U, but they picked R/S/E Remakes for DS I see.

Anyway, just about ten hours now. What do you guys think the announcement is going to be now?

Iwata will come in dropping bombs. Then new Pokémanz will appear and hypnotize viewers to buy the new 3DS XL and Wii U for the new game :)

I doubt a spinoff would get this much publicity. It's gen 6.

The real question regarding the poll is... why is there no option for a Wii U Pokemon title in the vein of Colosseum/XD? Seems to me that it's at least as likely as this whole thing being for a Wii U Mystery Dungeon game, and probably far more likely.

My dream announcement: Pokemon Snap U first revealed for Wii U, to release in the first half of the year, containing all pokemon up to Gen 5 and a few select ones from Gen 6. This followed by the announcement of Gen 6 itself, for release in the second half of the year, with indications that there will be three versions of the game - two on 3DS and one on Wii U. 3DS ones have new region followed by ability to visit Hoenn and Sinnoh, respectively (that is, one for each), while the Wii U one lets you visit Kanto and Johto after the new region. "New region", though, may be a slight misnomer - I'd love it if it were Orre, set about 4 years after the events of XD, with the region having become much more lush and many more pokemon having made their way to the area.

What I'm actually expecting: One of the following two cases

1. Announcement of Gen 6 for 3DS, along with confirmation of a Wii U downloadable game of some sort.
2. Announcement of Ruby/Sapphire remakes for 3DS plus a major spinoff on Wii U (possibly Snap U).

Almost 5 hours to go! Get some sleep, play some Pokemon, do something because it's almost here!
