If I'm not wrong to elect a new king the old one need to die or resign... so you can just choose a new King after that.
Now the Orbis & Durango needs to expect the PS3 dies to became a new King.
I think the Jaguar will step in as a substitute until a real king can be elected. Deal?

Kings aren't elected.
To become King, you need to be next in line of the throne, which is almost always the oldest child of the previous King. This means XBox 360 is crowned the new King, since that is the oldest child of this generation. When it dies, WiiU will be next.
If you consider the PS3 the child of the PS2 and would be naturally in line for the throne, however, in that case the PS3 is only a pretender to the throne, as the Wii has seized the throne during this generation.
