3DS up 26%
360 flat (down 10k)
Wii down 45%
PSP down 44%
DS down 12%
PSV up 115%

This is due to more of a holiday effect on these numbers to last year.  Otherwise they would all be down bar 3DS.

Last year was week ending 31st.  So this year has an extra 2 days before xmas day as opposed to after, those 2 days matters a lot at this time.

Hope to god we actually get PS3 shipment for Dec 31st.

Kowenicki is right about the effect of holiday on these numbers (2 days before christmas). I was hoping better numbers based on this, I think a lot of holidays sales happens in the last days.

Next week numbers will look depressive compare to this, only japan can help.

Nintendo is not dominant anymore. Wii is dying, Wii U is not a "boom" yet.

3DS are doing so so, good for it is cycle, but bad compare to good DS momentum.

By the way, total numbers per company:

Nintendo: 1.279.236

Sony: 832.224

Microsoft: 420.745

Who else thinks we are overtracking everything?

let's just enjoy the big and beautiful numbers until Nintendo spoils our party with the sales charts they release

I think it is kind of obvious that we are overtracking, maybe not to other people. But NPD shows our numbers to be overtracked every month and since this is the biggest month then the numbers will only be worse. PS3 and 360 are probably 10% down YoY yet VG says flat. Even small numbers like Wii U and vita will be overtracked in USA.

Wii U is doing pretty well in the US. No way it will stay in front of the Wii but it already has at least a 12 week edge over PS360's sales. NoA must be pleased so far.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Impressive PS3 figures, especially north american figures, i think "if the 360 doesn't have a pricedrop" the PS3 could outsell the 360 in north america for once..lol :)

3DS is over 1.1 million hardware sales ahead of DS aligned LTD.

All December numbers are overtracked like every other year... see the adjustments made in the first week of January last year.

3DS -372,921
PS3 -283,536
360 -882,792
Wii -528,465
DS -137,279
PSP -377,231

All overtracked... All receiving huge adjustments.

I dont.

I also think its odd that in the US the 360 drops almost 60%, the 3DS over 50% the WiiU almost 50%, but PS3 drops just over 30%.

The numbers this week are very odd.  Look at the post I made about PSP and PSV.

Oh for god's sake, stop whining. If you don't trust the numbers than wait for NPD and Nintendo's investor briefing charts. If anything our numbers are probably low in Japan. Sales keep going up there until New Years.

Proudest Platinums:
1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

its really funny how every damn thread that has wii u sales everyone is saying the sales are bad or its worrying. how in the hell is the overall worldwide sales for the wii u bad when its beating the 360 and ps3 through there launches. it seems alot of ppl since the wii u launch are loving hating on the system and nintendo. but in the long run the system will sell over 65 million with ease and will be just fine. it always amazes me of the loyalty so many ppl have for the big 3. i am a gamer,i own and love all 3 systems and will continue to do that with the new systems from ms and sony.
we as gamers should just enjoy the systems we own and be respectful . i know that isnt going to happen, but one can dream.

Wow I thought the drop was going to be much larger for everything. I expected the Wii U to drop to around 160,000-200,000...but it's kind of hard to predict a new consoles sales.

Odd the 3DS sold more then the same time it did last year, despite being below last years weekly sells the rest of the holiday season, I don't recall it having any extra sales this week over the other week...so it must be overtracked. The ps vita US and Japan numbers look ok, but that stable drop in Europe is highly unbelievable...unless Europeans suddenly love the Vita.
