good =)
DO NOT START WITH 7
It could turn you away from the series entirely. It has aged terribly, I mean terribly.
Start with 9. It's embodies Final Fantasy the best out of the whole series. It goes back to pure fantasy roots, with no sci-fi or cyberpunk world's, NO LOVE TRIANGLES or love stories(FF7, FF8). It's innocent, light hearted, better graphics then any other FF on PSN(therefore easier to get into).
If you enjoy it, then decide on your own the next one.

Obviously, he has already chosen what game his OP is about. So now I am giving him suggestions about Final Fantasy as a whole if he ends up likeing IX, since he has never played them before. |
Thread title. It is pretty much self explanatory and to the point, but I understand what you're implying,

I'm a little annoyed that no one gave you the correct answer lol. Deleting it was the right thing to do. PS1 Classic games can be downloaded to your PSP/VITA, so the install stays for your convenience. You can delete it if you want (I always do), or keep it.
Enjoy FFIX, it's the last great Final Fantasy game imo. If I can find the tolerance to finish FFXIII tonight, I'll probably start FFIX again, just to restore my faith in turn-based RPG's.
