Both GoW are boring honestly. They are "drag games." I didn't even know they were coming. I did know GTA V was coming soon enough.

I think the fact that nobody is talking about them is all that really needs to be said. Gamers are more excited about other games on the horizon. Im sure both GOW games will sell well, but I dont expect either of them to live up to the sells of their predecessors...

What worries me a little is that Stig the director of GoW3 isnt working on Ascension. Now I know each GoW has had a different director but still :P. I really hope Tod Pappy and the team can do something great but I really feel like for the critics atleast, the MP is what will matter a bit. I mean theyve shown so much of it and to me it feels like Ascension is a way to intergrate and test MP in the GoW Universe without releasing something like a GoW4. If the MP isnt that good, and the SP lacks in any form or way, the critics might blame the MP.

However they might continue the franchise in one way or another eventually so they need to explore that MP and try to innovate.

I just really hope that the SP does have amazing moments and is filled with greatness just like the other GoWs.

If Naughty Dog could do it, Santa Monica should be able too.

Also as someone whose played the beta, I really really like it.

Yeah give us GTA, Saints Row, COD, Mario -U, Far Cry 3 etc. etc.

If people keep buying shit. Developers will keep creating more shit. Make them work hard to refine software.

Neither are apart of the main series. Judgement isn't even developed by EPIC Games. Instead it is developed by People can Fly. People including me which is a big gears fan doesn't even care about the game. It is looking pretty bad so far. On top of that just because they both have the acronym GoW doesnt mean that they are direct competitors. They are not even close to being the same. Fans make arguments out of the dumbest things. Ahhh God of War deserves the acronym, no Gears deserves it.......pfft neither does, stop being lazy and just type the game out before using the acronym

Well, people can fly is owned by epic games... So that means that epic is making judegement...

i agree im not as excited for it, but i think it has more to do with a failure on epics part to promote the game properly.  Here are the problems with judgement.

1. Its a prequel story about a couple of supporting characters.  Epic has not revealed why it is a story that needs to be told and the players dont have any anticipation for the story as it is unrelated to the main series.  

2. Epic did a bad job promoting the fact that a different development studio is in charge.  People can fly is a great developer, but an unknown one.  Epic hasnt dome a good enough job explaining that to the world.

3. No cliffy b...

Still, with those problems i see itmore as a promotional failure rather then poor game development.  Im sure the game will be great, but epic and microsoft need to step up their promotional efforts.
