Sunshine had its moments for sure; the Petey Piranha parts were cool and the battle with robot Bowser on the rollercoaster was incredible.  But I hated the voices that they gave to Bowser and Bowser Jr and the lines they spoke.  It was just silly and unappealing to me, as was that whole "Mario on trial" bit.  Also, many of the levels were uninteresting and a bit tedious but like someone else said earlier, if you just play the great parts of the game and avoid the rest then it's certainly enjoyable.

Agreed! This game no matter what is by far the hardest! (collect all stars)

Galaxy 2 followed by Galaxy, these are two of the best games ever made overall they're just better then the other 3d Marios.

The galaxy games are the best 3D platformers I have ever played, and also the best games on the Wii. Really they just perfected Mario in my mind. I honestly don't see how Nintendo could top those games.

For Me:
SMG2>SMG>SMS>SM64>SM64DS>>>>>SM3DL

I hated 3D land, it felt like a 3D version of the bland New Super Mario Bros.

Galaxy is still the greatest, the game just had wow moments galore. Sunshine would be my 2nd vote, i must be the only person that thought fludd was an awesome addition to the game. And 3rd place would go to 3D land, the level design at times is second to none, and it is a game on 3DS that actually NEEDS the 3D on to benefit the gameplay.

Galaxy 2 is my favourite, followed by Galaxy 1. Super Mario Land 3D in 3rd.

I can only wish the Zelda series will reach this quality, or exceed it.

I think super mario galaxy 3 should be on 3DS [SMG3D] It will make 3DS such a better system IMO. ON Wii U make something unique Nintendo!!
