multimedia will play no roll. the console i have the most interest in right now is Ouya

i'm already on borad with Sony, and waiting to see what more ninty has to offer.

Valve, i'm taking a wait and see approach. MS, i'm almost not interested.

Hey bud. Ive been here and there on VGC last few months.

I make far less threads though nowadays. I remember classic VGC of 2007-10. Golden VGC when there were many supporters on all sides even a fairly good MSFT presence here then to. I made loads of threads back then. Jesus I even remember a time before CGI Quality and the like ( the new oldies of this generation of VGC ). I feel like an old timer here now. Some great members gone. Remember Soriku and the like?

Primarily gaming, especially the single player related experience. My computer does everything else for me really. :D After it is the multiplayer experience with friends. With that said I’m leaning on the PS4 and Wii U combination (I'm observing Nintendo still before I decide).

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Whether the Nextgen console is from Nintendo.

i've been away. came back 3 months ago on and off.

yea i remember them. i feel old to considering i've been active for 2 yr.'s although i started in 2008. it's funny how old you get when time flies by.

i miss the Rol threads.

I've such a backlog of games on my current gen systems I never need to buy another console.

So basically if I get one, it'll be primarily for multi-media first and games second.

Right now my next purchase is most likely an Android tablet/gaming device like Wikipad/Archos but MS might get me to buy their next system if it offers enough other features.

Im pushing more towards PC really, with a complimentary console.

Hence, it will be mainly about the exclusive games. Whoever offers me the best exclusives gets my money

I'll end up buying them all again. Games are the most imprtant to me but I really do hope MSFT is a multimedia device because then I can use it for everything. I think it will change gaming forever if they do. Sony will follow up so this will be good for both of them. Nintendo has slightly went in that direction with TVii but MSFT will be taking it much farther most likely.

They were the lifeblood of VGC. Rolstoppable threads. EPIC times.

Ouya? Prepare for huge disappointment.

you've been here long enough to see me make allot of post on this topic. the one thing you should remember is i scout. 5 yr's is a long time, and i'll make no decision before then. not even for Sony/ninty.

- I don't want to pay for online
- I want a robust library of games
- Low entry price
- The only multimedia "app" that I care about is Netflix
- I want a focus on classic controller (Sorry just not that into motion controls)

For these reasons....I'm kind of interested in seeing what Valve's Steambox is going to be like...
