You don't have to be the sharpest spoon in the fridge to know having a separate team for the MP component won't detract from the SP. Don't know why people ever complain when such is the case. I remember the Spec Ops developer complaining as they had to relocate resources from their SP team to work on a MP component as requested by the publisher.

Gamers are definitely up there for the "Most whiny group with a large sense of entitlement" award.

Whether it is 'real' replay value is determined by whether people replay it or not, not your preferences.
The statement you're looking for here is; the multiplayer mode is often of poor quality. 



Like I was saying, the quality of the multiplayer does decide whether its tack on. Brawl has the worst online.. probably ever but it does not mean it was tack. Its a fighting game. Fighters need a community and online multiplayer is perfect for it( number 1 reason for the genre's comeback this gen). No matter how good Ninja Gaiden 3 multiplayer could have been it would have never saved it from feeling like a tack job.

all i'm saying is i'm really whiny, and even i'm annoyed by the whinyness of our industry/gamers.

I've never played the multiplayer of games that are single player / story based like AC, Uncharted, etc.

Not that it matters to me if they add it in. I use it as a selling point when I resell the game.

not even give it a chance?  i've never played an AC game but i've heard really good things about it's multiplayer.  Uncharted 2 was only okay but i really like the multiplayer in uncharted 3.   you should at least give them a chance though before reselling is all i'm saying.

Yeah, if that second team did nothing and this game had only the single player it would be better than having that SAME single player mode AND an online component... -.- sigh
