What a boring year, especially for PS3.

Meh. We know that it was a pretty bad year for ps3 exclusives. Honestly, I am surprised they have done as well as they have - I would have expected the xbox to kick their butts by a wide margin considering the number of AAA titles they have had this year. Still, the ps3 has some really awesome games coming out next year so its all sweet.

true, all stars is really fun but nothing ground breaking, starhawk is good but not great. and twisted metal is twisted metal fun in its own right (specially when plaing 4 split screen multiplayer) but it cant be compared to other big sony games

Bad year for retail besides a few. Arcade games were great this year though :)

Poor year for exclusives on both sides, but I'd say the 360 had a more decent year than PS3 thanks to The Witcher 2 and Halo 4. Journey is still my GOTY, though.

You should add up the Metascores of each game to see who had the greatest super Metascore and better average Metascore.

I counted (25) games on PS3 over 70 Meta and (24) on XBox360 over 70 Meta in your OP.

Edit - NVM, just noticed for this instance you changed the normal rule of "Only 70+ Meta counts" to "Only 70+ Meta counts but 360 wins due to having more 80+". According to your rules shouldn't the PS3 edge out the 360 by having more "non-shovelware" titles?

Anyways, this really shows how much of a strength XBLA is.
