Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ass! - Steve Austin

I'm smelling a conspiracy

All those Stone Cold Stunners were just another example of Bible-inspired violence.

Truly the greates force of evil the world has ever seen. Only Mr. Socko can compare.

I'm not ignoring what other people have written but I am pointing out that even the Christians that could have had some say in the matter like Pope Pius XII and the vast majority of the Catholic Bishops in Germany during Hitler's time certainly weren't thay vociferous in their condemnatiojs of him.

Nor were the attrocities that Hitler commited all that different from those comitted by the Christian Churches in that part of the world only a hundred years or so earlier.

And as I pointed out Nazi soldiers certainly thought they had God's approval.  Also as I pointed out with the exception of the Jews ( replace them with Muslims) the people singled out by Hitler and his minions were the exact same people being singled out by America's Religious Right today:  Intellectuals, people that they perceived to be Communists or Socialists, feminists, homosexuals, etc.

Funny thing is that when Mormons show up to your house they don't tend to start to tell you about the fact that according to their theology that God lives on planet Kolob, that even though they told the United States government that they had stopped sanctioning polygamous marriages in 1890 that they were still carrying them out with the full approval of their prophet at the time until as late as 1910 and possibly longer since the #1 researcher into the matter was fired from his position at BYU in the 1990s for being concerned with actual history rather than faith promoting history ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mormonism_and_history ).

They've certainly been secretive about the Mountain Meadows Massacre of September 11, 1857 when they murdererd 120+ men, women, and children in cold blood and about Bringham Young's involvement in the matter ( http://www.amazon.com/Blood-Prophets-Brigham-Massacre-Mountain/dp/0806136391/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1355362122&sr=8-1&keywords=blood+of+the+prophets ).

Nor are they very forthcoming about their White Horse Prophecy which calls for the establishment of a Mormon Theocracy on the American continent after a time of violent upheaval which is discussed at length in Richard Abanes' book "One Nation Under Gods" wherein he also lays out point by point that by all established academic criteria Mormonism is a secretive and dangerous cult ( http://www.amazon.com/One-Nation-Under-Gods-History/dp/1568582838/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1355362310&sr=1-1&keywords=one+nation+under+gods ).

Harold Bloom's highly regarded book "The American Religion" contains a stringent and accurate critique of the Mormonism ( http://www.amazon.com/American-Religion-Emergence-Post-Christian-Nation/dp/0671867377/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1355362470&sr=1-2&keywords=the+american+religion ).

OH MAN THE MORMONS STOPPED DOING POLYGAMY 100 YEARS AGO INSTEAD OF 120 YEARS AGO. THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING.

And let's not forget all those hundreds of people they massacred on September 11, 2001. (I heard no Mormons showed up for work that day!)

Greatest force for evil ever, EVER.

Have you read any of the books that I've mentioned about Mormonism?  Doubtful.  You might be a pretty funny laughing boy, but until you've done the actual research, you're just an ignoramus, and that's the bottom line.

Maybe we should lock it for off topic discussions.

Actually i agree. This fell off of the Godwin's Law cliff a while ago, and is no longer worth pursuing.

Locking.

You and Ed both have to tone it down. Ed's already been warned.

I'll tone it down when Harold Bloom starts posting here. Until then, he remains a stupid cunt when he's talking about anything other than Western lit.

If repeatedly slurring (in a remarkably stupid and fact free way, I might add) the religion of someone who is posting in the very same thread isn't bannable, I don't see how anything I've said here can be considered even close to the line.

Oh my gosh, How is it that crap that happened over a hundred years ago is somehow relevant?  White horse prophecy is a freaking wives tale, nobody believes that crap, the mormon church hasnt ever accepted it.

Harold bloom also said said joseph smith was a religous genius and that if he wasnt a jew he would have probably become one.  I dont see you quoting him on that!

Now look, You have been warned already today in this thread.  This is off topic and honestly not anything that belongs on these forums.  If you want to attack somebodies religion, go to a forum that serves that purpose.

If you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all.
