Yeah, people don't have the need to protect themselves anymore.

The left is willing to concede that guns don't kill people if the right is willing to concede that guns don't protect people.

Sarcasm? I never said anything of the sort. They just need to tighten the gun restrictions. In Australia you need an actual reason to even own a firearm, then you go through psych tests and everything. The amount of shootings over there should be obvious evidence enough that something needs to change.

Something else people need to realize.. the best Gun Control.. is Self Control.. I can own all the guns I want.. if I am not using them to kill people.. it should not make a difference correct?? I believe the greatest problem with the world today is people don't have enough self control.. everybody needs something now.. or they need issues resolved now.. both of these are alot of the reasons for Gun Violence.. (There are more grant you.. alot more.. like the idea if I have not.. and you have.. then why should I not take it from you??)

I'm more of a pacifist. I hate guns and believe that they should all be banned.
However, I would admit that if I saw someone trying to kill my son, I'd wish for a big ass gun that would blow his head off.
O.T. This is sad, so sad - especially during the holidays. Can't imagine what the family of the deceased go through - how difficult it may be.
Any word on the motive? Jealous boyfriend or out of work?

well not in this case, this guy had terrible gun control. fortunately he didnt kill more than 2. if he would have had competent gun control many more would have died.
