Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo stock down 9% last 2 days

Investors jumped on the Nintendo bandwagon like crazy.

Then when the mobile game craze started up, they dropped Nintendo for mobile firms.

Nintendo's stock dropped even more after E3 when investors were expecting Nintendo to announce they were going to support mobile devices.

Watching stock on many tech sector companies is nothing more than watching the hype.

Besides, look who they go to for video game investment advice....Micheal Pachter.

Patcher was signling doom and gloom for nintendo in 2005, 2006 2007 and beyond, that didnt stop Nitnendo from going up 7 fold.  Maybe its a nintendo execution problem this time?

His doom talk then was nothing like the doom talk now and it was combined with the hyper successful DS and Wii and the new investor craze of mobile.

Context is the key.

I don't know if it's selling as expected or not, but they have said they are expecting 5.5 million by the end of March, and it'll likely be past 2 million by the end of this month, despite only being available in some places for about 3 weeks, so I'd say it's reasonable to assume.  Besides, launches aligned, it's been selling much better than either the 360 or PS3 did for being out this long.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

The same reason why you worry about THQ trading at .12 cents or Sony at $9.50 or Kellogg hitting an all time high today.  Stock prices give an indication of the overall health of a company.  Its an easy way to gague the company between earnings releases.

I dont know nothing of both cases, that is why based on the OP I thought that it was not selling as expected.   Meanwhile, you were the one that stated it is selling as expected.  So how do you know?

If you just had an opinion, you expressed it  the wrong way wrong.
