Why are duplicating my thread?

I guess he wanted to track USA only sales.

I was hoping for a thread like this. Please, keep updating!

I started making videos for youtube; check them out.

Contra (No Deaths): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_OdnbGgupM

Super C (No Deaths): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHoJrHWATgU

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (Mike Tyson TKO): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4L7oDV79aw

Systems owned: Atari 2600, NES(3), Top loader NES, Yobo NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega Gamegear, Sega Nomad, Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Playstation 2, Wii, PS3 (slim 120 GB), Wii U

You should congratulate me. I destroyed the vile red falcon and saved the universe. I consider myself a hero.

PS360 bombed in the US confirmed!

Joking of course, but this really should shut people up. Wii U ain't failing, not by a long shot.

@superchunk; what I like about this thread, compared to yours, is that it's easy to understand. It very simply shows how much each console sold...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

This is the first time I'm following a console launch so the way people were going on in here about the sales, I thought it was selling badly.

Just the usual bullshit from certain members, I guess.

haha im in the exact same situation! i was really worried about the wii u, thought it was selling bad, and then i came in here... BOOM! wii u is outselling xbox and playstation both.

but, compared to the wii its a let down, an expected one, but a let down none the less. kinda like the PS3 is compared to ps2...

out of curiosity, when did those other systems launch?

The XBox 360 launched November 21st 2005, the PS3 launched November 17th 2006, and the Wii launched November 19th 2006 ...

wow, thats kinda impressive then o.o

@OP: any chance you can make a chart showing software sales and tie ratio too?

Which is why certain users used the (supply constrained) United Kingdom numbers to make the Wii U look as bad as they possibly could.

The Wii U is already ~3-4 weeks of sales ahead of the PS3/X360 in the US. Amazing sales indeed.

I have been planning to do three threads tracking aligned console launches in all regions for awhile ...

I did a quick check of the first few pages, overlooked your thread, and posted it and didn't see your thread until after. Since your thread was tracking worldwide sales and mine was regional I didn't see the harm in having two.

Oh, nevermind. I was in a wrong thread.

Good work and will be interesting to see the other threads. If it is not too much trouble, you could add the gaps to your chart. That is what I was planning to do  later. :P

I'll create a chart for that later today
