Mega man X is one of the few games I can play over and over again.

The first game has an introductory level, I don't remember the 2nd one having one.

No not really, just saying that the second one is a continuation of the first, so it might be better to know the characters in the first one. If you don't care at all about it is not a big deal. Anyway, get X as it has better music and for some reason I enjoy it more than X2, although X2 might have a better level design.

Mega Man X had a great story... then Mega Man X5 happened.  Now that I'm thinking about it, find a PSP and get Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, they have a 20 minute T.V. show (This message is for the OP not you Chrizum).  And you're the OP...  Oh god.

X1-X3 have the same graphics.    There is a jump in graphics every 3 games. X4-X6 and X7-X9.

they were similar but slightly improved, X2 even had a chip to enhance graphics, like the Sigma boss at the end.

No, I noticed that X2 & 3 have slightly better graphics and art design than X1 personally.

It is such a shame I was just a little kid in Mega Mens prime. But I think the franchise had potential.
