I get the feeling Iwata is not going to be very happy with those 3DS numbers. This should be prime time for the 3DS, new XL models out this year, NSMB2, Paper Mario, a strong back catalog of games. Remember last year there was only Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7 had not come out yet.

Nintendo is insane. Four systems on the market, all sold at least 420,000 units in November. 1.75 million hardware units total.
