for a game that's supposed to be centered around the gamepad, it seems silly to make a sequel that neglects what the original game was supposed to take advantage of. 

sure ubisoft might decide to make the sequel multiplat, or they could re-release the original game on other consoles. whatever the case, it just would not be the same game without the wiiu gamepad. i can't imagine the game being as fun without it.

Oh, I agree that not having the GamePad probably would ruin the game. But what if PS720 also has gamepads similar to Wii U? Or perhaps they could use PS3+Vita? Or it might even work using smartglass.... What do I know? Or perhaps having a touch screen will becoma standard next gen (PS5, Wii U2, xbox4).

But I really, really hope they make a ZombiU2 for Wii U!!

I actually liked the Red Steel games and think that they were underrated. The first one was the first ever attempt at a FPS and sword fighting with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk scheme so it wasn't perfect, but it was the first so I was impressed at the time. The second one, the sword fighting controls were so vastly improved that you could go through the entire game without shooting, but it was still very fun to do. Zombi U is a completely different type of game and I actually like it better than the Red Steel games. The game pad is used brilliantly.

I hope they make it for Wii U as welll! I think Ubisoft has mentioned its development so we're in good hands :)

I'm just afraid that it will be called ZombiU2, because it would remind me of the band U2... :P

Yeah, I have Red STeel 2 right at home, and it's actually a good game! Never finished it though... perhaps I should some day :p

haha well, you don't actually have to say it's Bono you're beating to a second death - just have the zombie look like him ^^ And ZombiU2 is probably nothing U2 could about... But just to be on the safe side; name it Zombi U 2 :p
