Wii U will have the best baseball game: one player throws the Wii remote, other hits it with the Gamepad. Tries to hit the television.

not that i think it will sell millions over millions of consoles but if i would be a huge baseball fan and would love baseball games on consoles and there would be only one "real" baseball game (i just don't count something like mario baseball to that) i would probably buy a ps4 for that and even if i wouldn't buy a console only for baseball, if i would decide between xbox, wii u or ps4 i would take the ps4 then.

don't really know how big baseball is in usa but if only one console would have football games in europe, let's say the 360, i really believe the 360 would sell more as the ps3 in europe or at least the same just because of football games (no joke). i know so many people who bought a console just for football games it's crazy. sure they also buy other games then but without football no conole for them.

I'm a huge mlb the show fan and originally bought a PS3 over a 360 because of that. This year I even got the Move to play MLB The Show. It's by far the best baseball game ever made.

the show is great, but importing the game is a hassle sometimes.
mlb 2k was also very good, but the budget bug in 'my player' was sadly never fixed and more or less unplayable if you want a longer career (45mio budget yankees in the 2nd+ year ... yeah love it -_-)
but my most favorite baseball game is still pro yakyuu spirits. I think the most realistic one out there.

shame that there wont be another mlb 2k, since this is the only one to get without importing and paying $120 for it.

Looking at the sales of baseball games, I'm not sure the market for Baseball games is large enough for anyone to really care ...

If the market was reduced to 1 baseball game released for 1 platform and everyone who was interested in baseball games at all bought that platform, you'd have (about) 1.25 million sales for that platform

I think I'm gonna call this one early and say that Wii U sports with baseball in it will sell more copies of MLB: The Show for all years of the PS4 and Vita combined.
