My first gaming pc and the first to be put together by me, anyway. 

Wanted to know if I've messed up somewhere, need something not listed, problem with parts, if a component is over priced, etc.

EDIT: My budget will be at least $1200. Don't want to go over $1500 including windows7 and a second monitor. I've got one 25.5" monitor right now, I want an additional monitor for multitasking reasons. My games will only be ran on one monitor, the other will be for general use like web browsing, skype, nothing more demanding than youtube or netflix. I will be comparing prices on tigerdirect, newegg and amazon to get things at their lowest price.

To take advantage of a sale, I've already purchases a Corsair TX850M. More wattage than I will need  but 97$ after tax and shipping was hard to argue. Also, I know I won't have to worry about any future upgrades as far as Power Draw.

I will be getting  USB Wireless Adapter, mouse and a Keyboard. Before these extras, I'm looking at ~1155 before tax and shipping (a lot of this will be shipping for free, it seems).

Looks good as is. If you want to save money you could go down a few steps on CPU and GPU (i3 and 7700/GTX 660) but if you know you need what you have to play those games then what you have is fine. What games do you plan to play and at what resolution?

Your build seems fine. Personally I'd get a 660 ti. For heat, as I like to build things quiet. But the 570 you listed is a great deal.

660 ti is better and more expensive than his 570.

Edit the gtx is less powerful and same price. The ti is more powerful and more expensive

See edit. His 570 is 199 with mail in rebate. It doesn't matter much though. The 660 uses less power and produces less heat if that matters to him. But, is a bit less powerful.

Ignore MIRs, you can't trust them.

Regardless, the meaning of my statement is that he should get a cheaper GPU if he can't afford and doesn't need the 570.

depending on the games (like in Battlefield 3, Crysis 2, Metro 2033 and so on ) the normal 660 outperforms a 570

better go for a normal 660 - that way you can easily go down to a 650W PSU, even if you plan to get a second 660 for SLI later on

the 660 has a max consumption of 140W, so 2x that plus the 95W of your CPU is just 375W for those so with some overhead included 550-600W should be enough for your PSU in that case

Yeah. After looking at more things I'd get 660 gtx. Less rebate. It seems to perform better in real world games a bit better. Especially the newer ones while using less power. http://www.techpowerup.com/mobile/reviews/Zotac/GeForce_GTX_660/1.html

My screen res is 1920x1200. I play pretty much everything but i'm mainly interested in open world games like Skyrim, Saint's Row 3 and FarCry3.
