I wouldn't doubt that USA is the number one consumer of high fructose corn syrup though... Give me some corn or I'll take some corn. You don't always have to say ear of corn. Actually, I haven't used that saying in awhile (ear of corn).
I am pretty sure high fructose corn syrup is banned in Australia. Hnece why coke here uses sugar. Not sure if it has anyting to do with protecting our sugar industry or health reasons.
However we do have imprters wwho supply drinks with fructose corn syrup. However it makes me feel sick.
