Sqaure Enix employees never comment on rumours until something is offically announced, so its no supprise he didnt say anything. When is FF14-Realm Reborn out? The sooner that is out, the sooner we find out about FF15.

I find it interesting that Ito also says that his next game will have connectivity with Guardian Cross. That could mean we could have the first card mini-game since FF9.

I can imagine them implementing a lot of minigames like that, or even Chocobo Racing, in some form of multiplayer format. Things like that are are really popular these days. Square Enix is behaving a lot like Capcom and Namco these days, so I expect them to release loads of DLC for those things.

@Naraku_Diabolos. Thanks for the update, it means we still have quite a long wait unti we have any news. The game has allegedly been in development for at least 3/4 years. So I think we can expect a masterpiece. Although I'm biased!

Next. Hopefully (even though unlikely) for the PS alone so they can stop trying to appeal to markets that like action games.

Square have also indicated recently that they have no idea what makes a good game. The listed the top 5 things they think make a great FF game. Good Story and good characters were not in the list. Final Fantasy is dead to me.

Hiroyuki Ito is a genius and I've been itching for him to do XV. Plus, the rumours for XV so far make it sound bloody great! I have a very, very good felling about Final Fantasy XV and I can not wait until it is announced! And, yes, I'm one of the ones who loved XII.

This goes in complete concordance with the rumors we've heard this year.

No doubt its FFXV and its coming to current consoles given it already has been in development for 4 years.

 

If the rest of what we read in the rumors is true, then we should be in for a treat.

I would be interested in seeing that list, have you got a link to it?


In fairness to Square Enix, I know FF13 was not good, but in fairness to them From Software (Dark Souls) dosent focus on story or characters either. Although even in those aspects it trumps FF13.
