I was going to suggest FLCL, but since you already seen it...

You should catch up with more titles from Studio Ghibli like:

- Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind

- Laputa: Castle in the Sky

- Grave of the Fireflies

- Kiki's Delivery Service

- Howl's Moving Castle

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

I recommend Death Note. I know you're looking for suggestions that are similar to what you've already seen but it's always nice to try something different once in awhile.

My first recommendation is get a mail order membership. I believe Netflix is available in the United Kingdom. Basically if you want to get serious about Anime its the best way for you to peruse hundreds of different series. You pay a monthly fee and you can virtually watch a DVD per day. The reason it is important is that you save large sums of money buying DVDs you might never watch again or might be disappointed with.

My series recommendations.

Gantz. This is a hardcore action series, with a deep story, and even deeper philosophical musings. This series can easily leave you spell bound, and shell shocked all at the same time. This series does just about everything right.

Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Rahxephon. These series are perhaps the best mecha anime on the market.

Ninja Scroll the movie, and Ninja Scroll the series. The movie is considered a classic by most enthusiasts. The series is a gem that often goes overlooked. Most enthusiasts consider the movie a classic.

Vampire Hunter D. Another classic you should make time to see glorious action abounds.

Paranoia Agent. Some episodes are purely golden. Short but sweet series.

Do you only watch amercan released anime. If not I suggest an anime called Claymore it pretty new and won awards in japan. Plus it has beautiful girls slaughtering demons but of course it has only been subbed.

I love fighting games !!! Come on challenge me !

Rahxephon is a really good choice. its really confusing but its worth it. and the ninja scroll series and movies are a really good choice as well

THANKS for the suggestions eveyone =D! I'll try to watch all the ones you've mentioned no matter how long it takes! =D Actually I've seen the Ninja scrolls movie and enjoyed it, so is the series as good/better?

"I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes. That way I wouldn't have to have any goddamn stupid useless conversations with anybody. If anybody wanted to tell me something they'd have to write it on a piece of paper and shove it over to me. They'd get bored as hell doing that after a while, and then I'd be through with having conversations for the rest of my life"

Ninja scroll series are better than the movie. Gantz is also a good pick, (the final was rushed... but the essence is ok)
