I really didn't expect the Wii U to have such troubles during the entire holiday season. I sure hope it's due to a high amount of demand rather than a low amount of supply.

I'm really glad my friend offered me his second deluxe pre-order. This weekend is going to be a lot of fun. =)

This is when being a specialty store comes in handy. Gamestop is getting the largest shipment out of all the retailers. I heard 500k.

I don't think it will, it's just the first shipment is for Black Friday week and many people already pre-ordered.

First week will be the hardest to find, the weeks after it should be easy. Nintendo said they got the kids at Foxconn working overtime to frequent shipments planned to meet demand.

Perfect! Nothing tastes better than children's blood, sweat, and tears. I can't wait to play the Wii U.

I was second at my local Gamestop (I believe someone who worked there was first). I was in there yesterday picking up the "Nerf Armor" early so I could pick the color I wanted (Black/Blue, as opposed to the Black/Orange or Black/Pink). He let me know they were back there, I failed to convince him to give it to me before Sunday though.


What a glorious moment it would've been if you could have convinced him / bribed him to give you the console early...

Okay I'm worried. I'm out of town for Thanksgiving and I won't be able to grab my WiiU until the 24th. Best Buy better not sell my console!

Was just in my local BB where I have two pre-ordered. They said they are getting enough to fill all pre-orders plus extra. This must just affect those who bought online and not in store.

I'll have mine at midnight:01 Sunday morning. :) They are also doing a midnight launch.
