This seems like a pretty poor attempt at humour. We already have plenty of these sorts of threads; we don't need any more.

I wonder if Microsoft will even release the next Xbox in Japan?
They actually did try pretty hard this gen and the Japanese weren't interested. There isn't room for 3 successful consoles in that market.

I think you mean that there isn't room for 1 Western console in Japan.
Obvious flame bait trolling.

If recent numbers are any indicator, one can argue against there being room for 2 sucessful consoles. The PS3 was only started really doing in Japan after the Wii's decline got underway. And even the PS3 isn't doinf that great. Have you noticed that the 3DS is the only system to sell over a million units this year in Japan? Crazy. The PS3 should make it too, but not very comfortably. The Wii U is coming just in time.
Love and tolerate.

What was obvious flamebait here? As far as I know calling something trolling when it clearly isn't is against the rules. |
It's common knowledge the Xbox 360 failed because it's a Western product, VGKing's post puts negative spin on that so a potential person reading his post could react angrily and cause themselves to be banned.
I did not react angrily, I corrected him and stated my view that his post was flame bait which it obviously is. The real point is that nearly anyone knows it's due to the Western origin of the Xbox 360 and VGKing would know this.
Will do in future.
Although, it isn't an offense that he would be banned for. I'm merely making others aware that his statement holds no water.
