I loved Ars Technica's final line for their very positive NSMB U review

Verdict: Buy It, but don't necessarily buy a Wii U just for it

Yeah that pretty much sums it up. A great review but it really isn't worth buying a whole system for a single game.

And the review scores have just dipped slightly. I expect about 80 for NintendoLand and around 90 for Mario when all is said and done. I think that seems likely.

Bayonetta 2 had me at hello though!

Well that's no huge surprise. I think the shock moment was enough to sell people on it alone; myself included.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Good. I had Nintendo Land at 78 in the metascore prediction league, so this looks promising. My 82 prediction for New Super Mario Bros. U seems like a huge mistake though D:

Can't wait for the ZombieU reviews to troll in.

fixed

I think ZombiU will be received quite well actually...

Mid-to-high 80's is what I expect for ZombieU.

The fact that it's not visually groundbreaking will be used to score it lower than it deserves.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

I expect 84 from ZombiU, and 86 from Scribblenauts. Dunno about the ports, but similar to the other versions seem likely, with maybe a point deducted for each month it's been on the market?

Yes, the ports will probably get lower scores due to being late.

I think that, much to the surprise of some, Lego City will be one of the highest ranked games.

Isn't anything below 9.7 crap in this day and age?

Ah yeah Lego City will be great, but it's not at launch...

I think I made a far huger mistake with my Nintendo Land prediction... Yikes.

9.7 is utter crap. 9.9 in metacritic and 15M in sales are the minimum.

I'm getting tempted to get NSMB U now but will probably wait until some user reviews starts coming
