What took it so long? I expected this to happen last month.
That over 2000 people bought a wii is amazing really.
With the wii u a few days away I will say x360 will whip the wii's dead butt from now on. If x360 can't beat a "dead" console in japan MS might as well pack up and leave...
Why buy a wii when you can throw a few more yen on top and buy a wii u that can play upcoming wii games anyway?

Pezus, this is just sad. It is like a bad PR spin. Anyone with eyes can see that the two are statistically equal. It is a tie this week. Which is a slightly less impressive story.
Congrats to Microsoft and Halo this week. Another big release in the coming weeks could see the Xbox 360 pass the Wii "statistically."

I didn't realize Nintendo cancelled the release of the Wii-U. Hmm, maybe there's an explanation for lowered Wii sales. Oh, maybe it's that new fancy screen do-dad.
"Prepare for 720 domination next gen in Japan" Wii U is doomed confirmed, ....before it's release!
Aaaaaaand, people should have better sense of humour. (Not that my post was funny, but the thread is)
At this current pace, the Xbox 360 will catch the Wii sales in Japan in 162 CENTURIES (16,272 years and change to be exact).
