Don't agree with the Gran Turismo part, but yeah Nintendo does over charge for their products. They seem to believe 4-5 years later there games are worth full price.

Hint: They're not.

If they weren't worth the price, people wouldn't buy them.

Precisely why I don't, and people who do aren't very bright. 6 months after release a game is not worth full price, a year after it is not worth full price, 5 years later it's not worth full price. It works that way with every other publisher. Nintendo is not a special case in my eyes. I love Zelda, but there's no way in hell I would pay full price 5 years later.

32+ million sold says the price is right.

Why should they?

Nintendo games are never really frontloaded like most 3rd party games who sells 75% of it's total in the first few weeks..

Don't even try to think or convince me that 3rd parties wouldn't do the same... when games stop selling "they" have no choice but to lower the price..

Seriously this "crusade" against Nintendo is kinda pathetic and silly.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

What else needs to be said? The price is a reflection of supply and demand.

So this is your argument?? Forza horizon de-throned GT5? What is so great about de-throning a 2 year old game??? Why are you so suprised that any new racing game that is released now or in the future is better than GT5? GT5 was in production for 5 years and then the ps3 wasnt even released yet. If Forza horizon wasnt better than GT5 then the developer failed miserably because GT5 has been released for 2 years now and microsoft have plenty of time and should able to improve on it to make a better game then GT5.

Lets compare GT6 to the next Forza game when they both are released on the next gen console.

For those who says GT5 is "a boring game" then obviously this game is not for you. The box does say a driving "Simulator" so i dont know why you  guys are complaining. You know what to expect. If I wanted a simulator i will play GT5, if i want to play arcade type racing  i will play need for speed or Forza, and if i want to jump with my car and shoot turtle shells i will play Mario Kart. Something for everyone.

This thread is super serial/cereal.

Nintendo is arrogant with their prices as always be it hardware or games. But they have good fanbase who allow them to do so.

Heck, my cousin who lives in Canada now bought her children the Mario Kart Wii bundle. They don't have much knowledge about games so you can understand how Nintendo prevails in casual gamers mind.

It's call capitalism. Price is whatever the market will bare. New people are buying Wii all the time, mainly casuals, and Mario Kart Wii is one of the 'must have' titles for them (or any Wii owner). Mario Kart Wii (and NSMB and a few others) still sell very well at full price so why should Nintendo drop the price?

When a game stops selling, Nintendo reduces the price as seen with Selects and drops in price on DKCR and Kirby:EY.

GT5 cater's more to core and core gamers tend to buy it at launch. Beyond that, discounts are needed to entice others to try it.

Some of you people need to learn that relationship between price and demand.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

Ridiculous people arguing about this. If it wasn't worth it t would not have not sold so much. In fact It has outsold Gran Turismo 3 to 1.
