The next day: nobody shows up to work. Ever again. XD

On a serious note though, probably not a good idea to smoke it if there's a history of mental illness in your family or if you suffer from a mental illness, that's like eating fatty food or smoking cigarettes if your family is prone to heart attack.

This is going to be fun to watch to play out between the State and Feds.

Well as long as i don't remember it's real people the feds are going to be fucking over.

whoa, no way.

Edit:  If its no longer illegal, can employers still fire you/deny employment if you have it in your system?

They can fire you if you are drunk on the job.

So yes.

Hell... in most states you can be fired for being gay or transsexual.

The DEA might have something to say about that.

And meanwhile, California is forcing condoms onto porn stars. Booooooo!

I'd never eat cigarettes regardless of what my family's health history was.

The most conservative we've had in a while in matters such as these. That's true he is not legalizing that but the states in US do have more power than provinces do in Canada. So they are  taking the initiative. Was also looking forward to the food labeling of genetically modified foods in california. Prop 37 i think.

Unfortunately, it is looking like Prop 37 will not pass.  So you will not have a right to know what is in your food.

In my opionion It's a win for big business and a loss for things that eat and breathe.

I don't get it. Why would someone vote no on that unless one has direct stakes in that. How many people work for Monsanto. Argh. Oh well.

Marijuana is less lethal to your health than cigarettes and alcohol, so I always thought it was stupid to make it ilegal.

It does the same thing to you that cigeratettes do but it targets the brain and causes diseases in the brain.  Pot heads rejoice but all in honesty it's not good for you no matter how you slice it.  Now people can be dumb legally, whatever. Alchahol, smoking, and marijuana should all be illegal in my opinion.
