Now he is getting desperate. Mr. President, please just take the punches you took, regroup and do better next time.
should stay low for couple of days.

not just you, I'm pretty surprised too. I also didn't expect this thread to be as big. Evidently debates are a lot bigger than I thought...
Well, you might do well by comparing their overall score on politifact:

I was told that during the debate Romney said he wanted to increase military spending.. to keep China in check..the ppl who are lending us trillion's of dollar's
can somebody confirm this?
You can confirm it yourself by watching the video. But no that isn't what he said if I remember. He said he didnt want to cut military spending late in the debate. And earlier in the debate he said he wanted to get america independent so that it wouldn't rely on borrowing from china.
27 minutes in the debate answers your question. He said hes going to cut Obama Care, PBS funding, send money to state level for effeciency, cut government programs by merging with others to stop barrowing from china. Nothing about military spending.

The only two statements Romney made about the military I saw were:
We have a responsibility to protect the lives and liberties of our people, and that means the military, second to none. I do not believe in cutting our military. I believe in maintaining the strength of America’s military.
and
If the president’s re-elected, you’ll see dramatic cuts to our military. The secretary of defense has said these would be even devastating. I will not cut our commitment to our military. I will keep America strong and get America’s middle class working again.
I might have missed something, but you can check the transcript here http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/03/us/politics/transcript-of-the-first-presidential-debate-in-denver.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0
