Forums - Sony Discussion - So....Are we ready to admit there will be no PS4 in 2013....or shall we "Hope & Dream" further?

TGS is over, and just as the other trade shows ended....there's been no mention, showing, or even an acknowledgement that a PS4 is coming.

In fact, what we got was a New ugly redesign of PS3.....and they even raised the price.  lol

Now, since 2012 is pretty much over.....Are we all ready to face the fact that there won't be a PS4 in 2013, or are the people in denial not ready?

To me it's very clear.

Anyone else?

Why does this bug you so much? lol

I don't think the PS4 will come out next year, but I don't think it not showing up at TGS was any sort of nail in that coffin.

The only thing that is very clear is what's going to happen to this obvious troll attempt. What about the 3DS, X360 etc. who were only announced months before release. They don't count do they. Also no mention of the next Xbox and only about the Sony console? *eyeroll*

I´ve been saying this the whole year. There will be no PS4 in 2013

Accept it guys

your reasoning behind why you think it wont be released next year is not good enough to be "very clear"

I hate to see perfectly smart people, foolishly wishing for things that should be obvious that they can't have.

I want to help them.

Sometimes help hurts though.

I agree with what you've said except that the PS3 redesign was not 'ugly'. The price point of £185 for the cheaper model hints that there is room for one more price cut (probably next summer), to allow the PS3 to have holidays 2013 all to itself before PS4 makes an appearance spring summer 2014.

There is no need for PS4 in 2013, PS360 can deal with WiiU next year and, at least, the first semester of 2014.

I don't think as many people are bugged by this as you think... (or dare I say; hope & dream about?)
