Yes move can do this to.. and i also think sony will do this.. when ps4 comes.. that was also what i wrote in first post.. but wii u will still do it before sony.. :) And an other thing.. Nintendo is holding a lot of VR games patent..

http://www.google.com/patents/US5432895

How relevant can those patents be now? The 3D viewer already exists and only thing it needs is motion tracking, even just by gyros which is already used in Sony devices. These patents shouldn't effect Sony from implementing this at all. Why are you so sure that Nintendo would release this first? What if launches with PS4 or something. Why do you keep bringing up who does what first?

Sorry.. not the real patent side.. here it is.. (and sony has some to) But the point is.. this is the future.. and wii u can do it.. =  Now it's time.. now wii go in.. Issent it also what you want..?

Well if that's you're point that I'm going to say the PS3 can do it or the 360 or Wii or the gamecube or the dreamcast or the PS2 or the Xbox or the PS or the N64 or a computer.

Yes.. I think when the VR revolution is startet.. (bye nintendo.. just like touch, motion and glasses free 3d)  every device will evently have it.. And the chance it will do to our lives, will be bigger than the internet chance (off course it will run on the net) but the chance in human behavior will be bigger.. Surrogates (with out the robots) is not that long away.. Soon (5-10 years)  we will have a virtual world to).

I can't think of a way I'd like to game less. Sounds awkward and uncomfortable which is totally not how i wanna be when gaming.

Howeverrr, the tech is really cool, just it couldn't be the focus of the console and it's a long way off being mainstream enough to warrant any real software being made for it. I think it's far more likely we see these sort of things 'spring up' in some sort of Quasar / Bowling type place. I.e. somewhere you go with your mates to play a 'virtual' game wearing the things and with motion sensor type guns. That negates the fact that people don't have space for all this **** in their living room, over comes high costs as you'd just be paying just for the service and just makes a ton more sense in general lol.

Current software would be able to utilize this though. The virtual game places are old news, they've had that because back then it wasn't feasible for a console, today is it far more feasible and way more advanced. Imagine playing a game like Fallout 3 using this headset with the added tech, controlling your character with a dualshock controller. In addition you are allowed to move your head around and it adjust the screen, very similar to how you do it with the right analog in the game's current form. The center of the screen is the cursor, you could look at an item straight on and pick it up with the X button or look at an enemy's head and fire.

While that is cool, you can also just look around with your eyes at the world because the headset encompasses your entire range of vision instead of when looking at your tv the screen barely takes up your view at all. Right now the 3D viewer doesn't have sixaxis, so when you play with it you just sit there, but with it you could look around as if you were in the game. That is amazing and it works with current games as long as the tech is put in and the controller inputs mapped.

It would be outstanding to have this device and not be fed a lineup of crap tech demo-ware in its first year of use. Developers would even be able to update their games quickly to make it compatible.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Wouldn't that be really expensive? that baby is like 800 dollars..

anyway i don't think you should be tracking movement.. keep that on a stick..
noway you want to move left and right using your body in games like CoD..

They should do something with augmentend reality looking at a screen..
like the HUD for a plane on a screen displaying the sky

or make a Spaceballs videogame..

Didn't know Pyramid Head has a daughter :D

But strapping something to my head to play is the border I do not want to cross. People already lose track of their surroundings and die of starvation, those things will amplify the situation imho. When I play I want people to be able to sit down and watch me play, I do not want to isolate myself like this.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.
