I can't think of a way I'd like to game less. Sounds awkward and uncomfortable which is totally not how i wanna be when gaming.

Howeverrr, the tech is really cool, just it couldn't be the focus of the console and it's a long way off being mainstream enough to warrant any real software being made for it. I think it's far more likely we see these sort of things 'spring up' in some sort of Quasar / Bowling type place. I.e. somewhere you go with your mates to play a 'virtual' game wearing the things and with motion sensor type guns. That negates the fact that people don't have space for all this **** in their living room, over comes high costs as you'd just be paying just for the service and just makes a ton more sense in general lol.

Current software would be able to utilize this though. The virtual game places are old news, they've had that because back then it wasn't feasible for a console, today is it far more feasible and way more advanced. Imagine playing a game like Fallout 3 using this headset with the added tech, controlling your character with a dualshock controller. In addition you are allowed to move your head around and it adjust the screen, very similar to how you do it with the right analog in the game's current form. The center of the screen is the cursor, you could look at an item straight on and pick it up with the X button or look at an enemy's head and fire.

While that is cool, you can also just look around with your eyes at the world because the headset encompasses your entire range of vision instead of when looking at your tv the screen barely takes up your view at all. Right now the 3D viewer doesn't have sixaxis, so when you play with it you just sit there, but with it you could look around as if you were in the game. That is amazing and it works with current games as long as the tech is put in and the controller inputs mapped.

It would be outstanding to have this device and not be fed a lineup of crap tech demo-ware in its first year of use. Developers would even be able to update their games quickly to make it compatible.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
