I finally watched last saturday's episode, I was quite impressed, although I'm a little confused about were the writers are going to take the series now, this episode seemed quite a good stand alone plot :S

Yeah, it could have easily been a standalone episode. I think it was intended to set the stage for the next three episodes more than anything though. Something a bit slower paced, much more serious and dark, and omgwtfisgonnahappentoAhsoka?!

I do know we'll be seeing 1313 somewhere along the lines.

This last episode was great! :D

I really liked how they introduced 1313, it seemed quite natural :) The whole chase scene was great and I must say, I really enjoyed the episode :3

I don't have a clue who the evil jedi is though :S

It was fantastic. One of the best in the show yet.

The chase scene was good enough on its own, but Anakin and Ahsoka... I saw a bit of Anakin's frustration with things, a bit of his dark side, and his attachment to Palpatine (insisting Ahsoka goes through the legal routes of clearing her name). Ahsoka... it felt like she lost some faith in the Jedi. She learned that a Jedi was responsible, and their reasoning was actually solid... and then no Jedi came to help her. I don't think I've ever seen her so unbalanced before.

Also, how about all those musical cues from the original trilogy, and the empire-esque prison base? Those were some nice touches.

I'd have guessed Barriss, just because she was in the episode, but she already has an end in Order 66 and I don't see them retconning that. If she were guilty, she probably wouldn't be with the Order by that point. I'm not sure who it is either. I'd almost rather it be a character we know though. The impact would be much greater.

Yeah the plot their trying to go for is quite similar to the Republic vs. Mandalorians in KotoR (so there's quite a bit of influence from KotoR in the show :P), many Jedi argued that is wasn't the Jedi's place to wage war on behave of the Republic, while others disagreed (Revan), I enjoyed that plot, so this also gets a thumbs up from me :P

Yeah they are certainly helping people understand why Anakin chooses Palpatine over the Jedi order for sure (and why he chooses Tarkin too :P).

The music is solid as always, but the Empire feel was definitely there :3

I doubt it would be Barriss, there isn't any previous examples of her showing distrust towards the order (plus IIRC was mentioned the traitor was a Jedi knight, Bariss is just a padawan still). Maybe Shaak Ti? That would explain why she survived into The Force Unleashed and wasn't killed in order 66 if she was exhiled?
I think they have plenty of possibilites though :D

EDIT
Scratch Shaak Ti, she defended the Chancellor in the Clone Wars original Series that happened right before Episode 3, I have no idea then xD

More shades of grey is always good. It makes things so much less predictable.

I only said Barriss because she was the only Jedi to have any significant role outside of Anakin and Ahsoka, who can't be guilty because they weren't there. Regardless, my ultimate theory is that Palpatine is somehow behind it, and the reason Ahsoka was set up. Palpatine wants to isolate Anakin, and what better way to do that than by taking down his apprentice? He probably wouldn't even be suspicious if she did die; after all, she was thought to be an escaped prisoner at the time, and a highly dangerous one at that.

Obviously, Anakin still seems to believe Ahsoka, but she could easily be killed in the next two episodes. And based on the trailer, it looks like this incident will reveal more of Anakin's darker side...

.Yeah Palpatine makes the most sense, but it wouldn't quite carry the shock factor this type of story arc has, oh well, we'll find out soon enough! :D

Also can't wait till Ventress reappears, I think she's going to play a major part ;)

No, maybe not... but I kinda don't want to see a new character. I thought that it might be Ventress herself, but what reason would she have to do that? I guess if she needed Ahsoka's help, but... I dunno, that doesn't seem to make sense. We'll find out soon, though.

Ventress should appear in the next episode, based on the summary. I'm super excited for it!

Spoilers for S5E19:

It's Barriss. It has to be. Who else could be behind it? Barriss knew where Ahsoka would be, and didn't say how she got the information. But then, that begs the question; Why? Why would Barriss attack the temple, and worse, try to frame Ahsoka? They got along so well before...

Other than that, this episode was good. Not as good as the last one, but still good. It's killing me though. Ahsoka's in a horrible position, and I'm really upset by it. I want to think she'll be found innocent, but... the show could go any way, at this point. What if we ended up with an Ahsoka on the run, or an Ahsoka turned dark? What if they actually execute her?

Yeah at this point, I have no idea who else it could be :/

Also, congrats on your prediction ;)

but sadly, this weekend is the last episode of the season :( I certainly hope they go out with a bang, but going by the mini trailers, it's going to be massive :O
