It is funny how you took TPS as example altough I talked about 3 franchises. Just Imagine a Media Molecule RPG. Sony doenst have any RPG exclusives just btw. but they have quiet a few Jump ´n Runs.

And they have quite a few third-person-shooters, so why mention it?

A Media Molecule RPG would be great, but they could probably afford to keep the same whimsical artstyle and that's what caused you in the first place to say this wasn't much of a different route.  There isn't much scope for making a third-person-shooter like LittleBigPlanet I would have thought.

No Sony has only two Third Person Shooters. And one of them is not a real TPS.

I like it. Looks great.

I don´t wanna bitch or anything, but why do most gaming companies develop game from the same genre. Yeah this game looks fresh and nice and all that stuff but wouldn´t a game from a different genre be a much bigger surprise.

I think the style is similar.  2D platformer vs. 3D adventure game isn't the same genre.

both are Jump´n Runs. It would be nice to see something totally different from them, maybe they are a bit different. But the simililarities are too big imo. It would be nice to see a RPG or Action game or a Third Person shooter from them. That is what I meant

That's just such an extremely narrowed look at the game. Uncharted is jump and run too. But it's nothing like LBP

this is a 3rd person action adventure game....their last game was a 2d platformer. It doesn't get any different than that. Besides this is one of the two projects they are working on. This game itself however is NOTHING like LBP.

lol that's a cute way of being an asshole

have you seen the gameplay, read about the world it's in and so on?

now here's how to be an asshole

it doesn't take much to realize a 2d platformer with floaty jumping mechanics is vastly different to a 3rd person action adventure game that was built ground up to make use of all vita features.

seriously tho...how can you say that this looks anything like LBP is beyond me....have you played LBP? :S

edit: edited to be less assholic :P

It looks like wind walker, and that's a great game to look like.

Yep wind walker is one of the games I actually thought about when I saw the visuals, the other game was Katamari. As mentioned in the OP Zelda was one of the inspirations for the game :D I think they are talking about the nature of the game tho and not the visuals (action adventure, lots of NPC etc)

He must refer to the genre, as Zelda games have had very different art styles.
