Lightning will be in FFXIV:ARR.

Lightning will appear in a quest. Completing it will reward you with weapons and costumes from FFXIII and FFXIII-2.

Lightning will be in a quest or in an event. When you complete it you get weapons and costumes from FFXIII and FFXIII-2

Ive noticed that within phase 3 of the beta itself that the ps3 version is continually improving through each patch as far as performance and visual fidelity is concerned, I'm actually pleasantly surprised by the marked improvements SE has been able to implement in such a short amount of time.  Makes the wait for the ps4 version much more bearable, although I cannot wait until it does come out for the ps4, that will be an epic day.  Still gonna enjoy the shit out of this game no matter which platform I get it on, however, but the improvements will be worth the wait.  The pc I currently have cannot push this game past ps3 levels anyhow and I fully plan on building a much better rig, but I'm on a rather restrictive budget atm and wish to own both the ps4 and xbone before I even think of purchasing a new rig.  Ps3 will do just fine.

Good lord man, build it yourself.

I don't know how to build PCs. So I'm not going to mess with them like that. I'm just going to prepare for the DirectX 11 patch/client. I will only upgrade my graphics card every other generation, seeing as the next big gen is the 800 series, I will wait for the one after the 900 series.

August 27th on PC and PS3. Early 2014 for PS4. I suggest reading the first post of the thread.
