Mark as "exhibit A" as to why this poll has gone the way it has.

I am literally frigthened for people when they talk this way.  

Several "Exhibit As" in here, and not all of them apply to a supporter of Sony (see GeneralMLD).That and, poll results haven't ever nor will ever be a realistic measure of anything, except that anyone and everyone can vote in it.

That said, this poster is no better, so we agree there.

I dont think he is a fanboy... I think its much worse than that for the poor fella.

You know what saddens me the most? before this generation there was no such thing as "Sony fanboys." during my time playing the last two generations, I never once had someone go all out on their "blahhh, sony is the best, nintendo/microsoft sucks!" I DID, however get swamped with "Xbox is better" people last gen, and even the smartest people I knew were all "N64 is best" type people....which was annoying as hell because I actually hated the PS1 at first and wanted an N64 instead, even then the Nintendo fanboys were annoying.

Until this generation, I had never seen a sony fanboy....and I only saw sony fanboys show up AFTER the relentless attack by the microsoft fanboys, mostly as an exagerrated defense mechanism against 'haters.'

It wasn't until recently I saw a lot of people really back sony and get aggressive about it, inthe formative years of the PS3, it was all defensive stuff, but now it's "Xbox has no games" and "We don't have to pay for online!".

Funny how things change.

Really funny thread. No one sees them or they fellow brand followers as a fanboy, but see the others as it. Lots of people that try to pass as balanced posters showing their true colors.
