Now, if you read further down into the comments written by this author, you get something a little more legitimate and less shrill. I still disagree with some points (as i feel that, aside from the human trafficking problem, porn is as harmless as any other activities that have mild addiction potential), but it's worth a read to dig through the comments section of this article

Whoa i haven't run into any prostitutes at my college, apparently I went to the wrong school :P

i just read about the rules for prostitutes in canada, maybe that's the reason. if i understand it correct it is only allowed if they still earn money with another job and some other strict rules which sound more strict than here. since i said they do it here to not need another job to have more time to study or to have more freetime it could be the reason. and sure, not every third student is a prostitute or stripper here and i would say most still don't do it for themselve and have to do it.
