no. xbox 360 is spot on now. it got a 500k adjustment a while back after the nintendo charts. microsoft can confirm a million times that " xbox 360 was number 1 worldwide last year" it wont change anything here.

It was then adjusted back again. last two quarters of shipped figures suggest we are undertracking the 360, possibly by as much as 500k.  Not to worry though, if that is the case they'll be ammended after Q2 shipments are released as we cant accuse Microsoft of channel stuffing for 3 straight quarters surely...

Not entirely sure, I think the NPD figures came in suggesting we were overtracking in the US so they made the adjustments.  Whatever the reason it was some new data.  It's not an issue, another couple of months and we'll get the revised figures then the holiday madness will kick in.  It's likely to upset a number of PS3 fans on this site though when the gap rises again after the summer despite the 360 having been "outsold" all year.

No, they definitiely stated specifically this was in reference to Worldwide sales not just NA.

Sony hasn't refuted it for the PS3, Nintendo cant possibly refute it with the Wii... so where does that leave us?
