Guys, guys... can't we just all agree that Capcom is a bunch of anti-consumer fuckheads with no direction or future?
Why should Capcom make games for the Vita, because of the abysmal hardware and software sales?
At the moment the only reason for a publisher to make a Vita game would be a big sack of money from Sony.

They are an odd group. Outside of Sega they are my favorite 3rd party, but they really are the poster-child for persistent stupid decisions.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

It pains me because I adored them growing up, but while they are still capable of making cool stuff they seem to be going downhill pretty quickly without Kamiya, Mikami, and now Inafune. Capcom got a lot of credit for reviving the fighting genre with Street Fighter IV, and deservedly so, yet here we are not even four years later and they're well into the process of Guitar Heroing it. With their recent asshat antics and general lack of creativity, they'd better hope people don't ever get tired of Resident Evil or Monster Hunter.
you guys do realise I was joking right?.. I put a LoL in there and everything, you guys are far too touchy.
Tho I do find it interesting the director works on the monster hunter games, and he decided rather than down port the downloadable PS3 title to Vita and throw in cross play, he decided to make a seperate game for 3DS.

My guess is Wii U will get a version too (PS3 port with some 3DS style touchscreen stuff), they just can't announce it right now.
Vita dug its own grave. If I was a Japanese dev I would not greenlight anything for it either, it's selling worse than the GameCube.

I don't think anyone should count out the console until after E3... if nothing decent has been announced for this year/early next then perhaps the doom train can begin ![]() |
No actually if Nintendo wanted to make a splash with monster hunter they would have done it at the last Tokyo game show. You know as the franchise is far bigger in Japan than the west on handhelds.

No one cares about Lost Planet, let a lone a Lost Planet spin off...
Vita isn't missing out. Trust me.
