Forums - Sales Discussion - PAL Charts - Week 15

Better than I expected this week from Star Wars.

As previous weeks, the usual contenders are still there. :)

I am very happy with the sales situation of Kinect Star Wars. I really like this game although its review scores were sucked.

EA bounce back with ‘FIFA Street’(-22%) returning to the top, marking the fourth week at No1, equalling the four week run of the original ‘FIFA Street’ released on PS2, Xbox and GameCube back in week 12 2005.

EA’s ‘Mass Effect 3’ (-34%) and ‘FIFA 12’ (-25%) also move back up a place at No2 and No3 respectively, which means that last week’s No1, Microsoft’s ‘Kinect Star Wars’ (-55%), has been forced down to No4 with over a 50% drop in sales. It’s EA again at No5 with ‘Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13’ (-23%) on par at No5 and Activision Blizzard’s ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ (-23%) also stays firm at No6. Bethesda’s ‘The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’ (-2%) continues to move up the chart from No10 to No7 and EA’s ‘Battlefield 3’ (-13%) is up a place at No8. Sega’s ‘Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games’ (-26%) is still in the race at No9 and EA’s sixth title in the top 10, ‘SSX’ (-40%), rounds us off. It’s been a quiet week for new releases this week with Nintendo’s ‘Pandora’s Tower’ the only one to breach the Top 40 at No38.

1. FIFA Street - 25.830
2. Mass Effect 3 - 20.991
3. FIFA 12 - ~16.500
4. Kinect Star Wars - 19.144
5. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 - 11.877
6. Call of Duty Modern Warfare - ~11.600
7. The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim - 11.300
8. Battlefield 3 - ~11.100
9. Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games - 9.172
10. SSX - 7.949

Still close to 20K for Star Wars? Not bad.

2010 735k UK Chart-Track

2012 so far 30k according to VGZ

Just 25k left to reach 1 million. VGZ should update GT5 UK numbers since we know how much it sold in 2010 and 2011.

Nope, Iceland too. I'm sure there are many others.

Gotta love the Nords. Good taste, good education, beautiful women.

Oh, and good booze. They really don't hold back.
