Well, yeah...I'm not Christian and I still celebrate Christmas. It's much more of a tradition than it is a religious holiday now. Can't say I'm not happy about that.

Its definitely a religious traditional holiday, but like I said corporate marketing materialistic bullshit ruined it made it better

fixed

Ok, when something  looses its purpose, characteristics and intensions it becomes better in your opinion. oh well

Yes, because I am not religious and don't take this stuff seriously. Most of the people who are taking it to very materialistic levels are also not very religious. No one is stopping you from doing what you always do. No need to follow the others. But that's what I do, since I don't have a faith and I like everything else about the holiday; the food, the gifts, the general christmas "spirit", the decorations etc.

Yes and that's exactly why its ruined -  if people don't follow our cause and don't share our faith, they shouldn't participate in  our  holiday.

''I don't wanna follow christian religion, go to church, read the bible or any of that shit. But exploiting and abusing their most sacred holiday for my own benefits? FUCK YEAH, COUNT ME IN !!! Its pathetic...

But that's just my opinion, I don't wanna forbid people from doing anything like that. If they wanna be double standard hypocrites, exploiting sacred holidays of a religious faith they don't even share, then let em have it. And i will discuss this matter no further, because its obvious where you wanna go with this

Basically I just eat as much candy as I can and arrange massive Halo tournaments.

church , eating easter eggs and chocolate bunnies in greece the sunday of easter we eat roasted lamb that we roast on our own so if you come in greece this day it is like an american BBQ party everywhere

Except it wasn't even a Christian holiday to begin with. Move it to another date then. But if that makes me and half the world a hypocrite, then so be it.

And you're wrong; I don't want to go anywhere with this, it was you who brought it up, remember?

UGH WHAAAT? You mind telling me what other religion celebrates the resurrection of Christ??? You know, before he even was on this planet...

You're the one that quoted me first dude..

He is just saying that the a previous European religion (before Christianity existed) had a holiday on that very date, which the Christians then took in order to successfully eradicate and stomp the previous religion. Same goes for any Christian holiday, and texts from the Bible even suggests that the present dates for Jesus birth and death are inaccurate.

The date may be the same, but the reason for celebration is completely christian and only christian

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
