why would I do that?
It's obviously going to have it. I don't know what deals were done, and I'm not going to be the guy that screams money-hat. It's obviously coming to psv, it doesn't make a lie of sense for capcom to go exclusively 3ds when mh 3ds has just not reached the sales of the very first psp mh.

It didn't make any sense either why JRPGs were put exclusively on the Xbox 360. Of course, they eventually came to the PS3, because the 360 couldn't move enough copies.
But Monster Hunter Tri G has already matched the global sales of the first PSP Monster Hunter and therefore exceeded its Japanese sales. And Tri G is obviously not done yet as it still sells around 10k copies every week. Take a look, Tri G has the potential to also beat MHF2. That's not too shabby for a game that isn't new. Also, about a 25 % attach rate in Japan right now (3DS recently passed 5m).
Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

But what about capcom saying something like "our decision to go multiplat"? This isn't multiplat, right?
I will say that sales of tri are better than expected, and I think it's likely due to the 3d aspect of the game, since it's already on psp, and wii. It's hard to really make a good point without a new game on both systems, but i mean, freedom 3 is nearing 5 million in jp alone on psp. Nobody even knows why it hasn't been released in the states yet. MH is certainly a franchise that has been growing from entyr to entry, so beating older games in sales isn't necessarily impressive.
I personally think the 3d aspect of the game is pretty neat, though.

Such decisions are easily changed with moneyhats. Capcom isn't any different than other third parties.
You can look at the sales of MH Tri G as an addition to the five million players on the PSP or you can see these sales as MH fans who have moved over, thus taking over a million units away from a possible PSV MH release. One thing is certain in any case though: Monster Hunter 4 will outsell MH Tri G.

I hope it starts selling in the west too. Its a great game with a steep learning curve any sales for mh, no matter the consile is only going to give capcom a reason to make more and expand them.

So you expect Nintendo to make games for the PSV? Sure, why not.

No, better. I expect Activision to make games for PSV. IW/Treyarch, to be more precise

Those games don't have the HD twin trends on the Vita, so what is your expectation?
On HD Twins (Just COD, let alone Battlefield and Metal of Honor):
Look who's at the bottom of that list.
When will I get the best of this place...

Notice when the Cod PSP game came out and that it's pretty much a mediocre spin off? Cod has multiplied in popularity since then and could easily be a 5m seller on Vita if it's a good game.

A very good point, I gotta give that to you pezus (you are always on the ball, good stuff). Then, in that case, hopes cannot be too high as a "true" entry has yet to prove itself on a handheld (and on a Wii-line platform with full dual-analog support for that matter, and though that's a different story, it's similar risk assessment).

The thing is, now with the Vita, they could keep the PS3/360 version of a new CoD almost exactly intact. The graphics and the controls could be the same, maybe with some added touch functionality.

Granted, development is probably gonna be really cheap. But that still doesn't promise sales. COD is really peculiar in that sales only really started lifting off as of COD 4+ (Explosively). COD3 also had online mode. But its success is really peculiar and has alot to do with marketing and gang-mentality. "My friend has COD so I need to play it too". To expect that too work on PSVita without assurance is kinda off. There's a likelyhood, but it's still a very big and important unknown. We don't even know if shooters can have that kind of interest and success on a handheld yet.
