Forums - General Discussion - How much profit is okay when selling used stuff?

That's exactly what I was meaning in the OP. When I sell it too low the next person could make a hefty profit...

And now off-off-topic... I never had Twinkies. I wonder where I could get those in japan...

Unfortunately, Hostess (the creator of Twinkies) has filed bankruptcy in January and has decided to move to **shugggg** healthier foods, which means if you haven't had a Twinkie already, then you may never have one for the rest of your life. Twinkies on ebay now sell for $12 a box. Buy them now before they turn into malt liquor and sell for $14 a box.

You already have better snacks in Japan so you're not really missing much.

Yeah, maybe, but I still would have liked to know what the fuss is about.

Always try to maximize your profits whilst keeping your overhead as low as possible. So to answer your question, yes go sell it for as much as you can get away with.

It's an open free market. Why would even bother with asking yourself a question like that.

Everything is and should be sold at the highest price that people are willing to pay. That's capitalism and it's beautiful.

You're not running a charity. If you feel like you made too much money on a sale then please do give some to a charity.

Welcome to the joys of capitalism.  The motto is "Buy low, sell high."

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I don't like eBay as a seller any more.
I only sell my stuff on small cozy specialized forums.

By the way, the thing with the 2$ game worth 70$ was only an example. Such finds are quite rare.
