and thats game folks ps3 holds off the surging x360. microsoft need to do better globally in a world that really dont buy american. europe they can try but ap/mea i wouldnt hold my breath.

PS3 is the best selling console outside of the Holiday seasons, and I expect it to continue in 2012.

360 had a 100k yoy boost bigger than PS3 over last year, so expecting a difference in sales in the last week of the year wasn't unreasonable. Except it's only 30k drop.

I did expect them to be closer to be fair, didn't expect a 600k drop in Americas for 360 .....

It was expected that the PS3 would start winning as soon as the holidays are over. Its no secret that the only place where 360 sells big is America and they buy huge amounts of consoles in the holidays. Thats why the 360 always gets the biggest % boost in the holiday season.

So its only natural that the 360 will get the biggest percentage drop outside the holidays when compared with the PS3
